Hyundai Motor lowest earnings in more than 5 years

Hyundai Motor lowest earnings in more than 5 years
Two days ago I post here the top ten best selling car in 2014 and Hyundai is not one of them. Now I just read that the company has the lowest earning after 5 years in the business. It ranks 4th in the car manufacturing in the world.

SEOUL, South Korea—Hyundai Motor Co. reported Thursday its lowest quarterly earnings in more than five years after losing ground to local brands in China and underestimating strong demand for SUVs.

 South Korea’s largest automaker said its third quarter net income was 1.2 trillion won ($1.1 billion) for July-September quarter, slumping more than 25 percent over a year earlier.

 The result, its worst since the first quarter of 2010, was below even the lowest estimate by analysts. The maker of Sonata and Tucson vehicles was expected to post 1.5 trillion won in quarterly profit, according to a survey of analysts by FactSet, a financial data provider.

 Hyundai has suffered from weakening sales in China like some other foreign brands while its lack of new SUV models until recently led to lower share in key markets. The company has focused on sedans rather than SUVs, misreading consumer demand at a time of sluggish global demand for sedans such as the Elantra.

 Hyundai, part of the world’s fifth-largest automaker along with affiliate Kia Motors Corp., faced a slew of challenges in China, the US and South Korea.

 Its China sales plunged 30 percent in July over a year earlier and then sank 16 percent in August as Chinese auto brands introduced new models. The decline was narrowed to 5 percent in September.

Lee Won-hee, Hyundai’s chief financial officer, said its sales in China will turn higher this month compared with a year earlier, helped by a cut in tax on auto purchases.

In the US, the company last month recalled nearly half a million Sonata sedans for a possible engine flaw. It also gave more generous incentives to car buyers to compete with Japanese automakers, Lee said.

In South Korea, Hyundai’s labor union staged a strike for three days last month during the annual wage negotiations, affecting operations at all domestic plants.

During the third quarter, sales rose 10 percent to 23.4 trillion won while operating profit dropped 9 percent to 1.5 trillion won.

The latest result marks a seventh straight quarter of earnings decline for Hyundai.

The fall in its earnings is at odds with an improvement in Hyundai’s brand value. Interbrand, a global brand consultancy, ranked Hyundai Motor as 39th most valuable brand in the world, up one notch from a year earlier.

The Top Selling Cars of 2014

The Top Selling Cars of 2014
Many cars are now cheaper, fuel savers and decent to look. I am a car enthusiast but since I am not rich I will just post here the top ten best selling cars in 2014. For me I will choose a car that is fuel economy  because gasoline is very expensive today. Another feature that I like is safety and the last one is convenience. I just learn how to drive recently and I must say that I really enjoy using our company car. Here in Middle East gasoline is not a problem, it is very cheap. Water is more expensive if you may ask. It is also advisable to have car in Middle East because bus is not common here and taxi is very expensive.

 TOYOTA PRIUS (HYBRID)
This little hybrid is as popular in Europe as it is in the United States. After Toyota’s success with this model, they produced two more versions: Prius V (the bigger version) and Prius C. The interior of Toyota Prius is comfy and looks decent, but the best thing about it is its fuel economy and the fact that it is a hybrid, of course. And it is affordable – around $24,000.

 HONDA ACCORD
Another Japanese beauty ranks quite high in all lists of top selling cars for this year: Honda Accord. Owners say it is comfy, fun to drive and easy to handle, even in bad road conditions. There are 4 and 6 cylinder versions. The first one comes with a 6-speed manual transmission, and the other one comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission (you can also opt for manual transmission if you buy a model with V6).

 TOYOTA RAV4
This SUV ranks high in nearly all lists of good affordable cars. The engine power, spacious interior, quality materials, nice exterior and good fuel economy make this car worth the money. They wanted to improve this model even more, so they also reinforced the windshield so you don’t hear the noise coming from the outside.

 HONDA CR-V
A beautiful and reliable car. Whatever you need it for, you will be happy with it. And there is one more thing that makes this car worth your money: fuel economy. There are very few cars in this class that can compete with the CR-V.

 FORD FUSION
This sedan is not too big, so don’t expect it to be good for longer rides. Its four cylinder engine is not too impressive, but if you need it for city rides, you will be happy with it. It also looks quite good. The interior is spacious, comfy and made of nice looking materials.

 HONDA CIVIC
Another Honda that deserves to be on this list. They made it better than most other cars in this class. It normally comes with accessories like Blutooth connectivity for phone and a camera. It is very easy to drive and there is enough space inside the car. If you decide to sell it, you might still get good money for your used Civic.

 TOYOTA CAMRY
One of the most popular midsize sedans. If you are looking to buy one, you might want to wait for an even better version: 2015 model. If you want to buy a Toyota Camry this year, you will still be happy with the current model. Its V6 provides enough power, the car is comfy on the inside and looks good on the outside. There is also a hybrid version.

 KIA OPTIMA
This midsize sedan is beautiful and made with taste. Evethough it comes with a V4 engine, owners say they are happy with its power. It performs quite well, even on winding roads and in bad road conditions. The brakes are excellent. The current model comes with some additional cool stuff, like cooling glove box, Bluetooth, satellite radio, etc.

 TOYOTA COROLLA
Some owners complain about bad acceleration, but that was expected, considering the fact that it comes with a weak four cylinder engine. However, fuel economy is good, and the ride in general is comfy (unless you plan to use it for long rides ouside the city). The interior could have been made nicer, with less plastic in it.

 NISSAN ALTIMA
Evethough it comes with a V4 engine, it feels like it has enough power, which makes it fun to drive and easy to handle. It performs well even on the highways. If you still want more power, you can get one of these with a V6 engine. Owners are also happy with the interior and space. The car looks ellengant, both inside and out.

Apply for a car loan using a car's Title

Apply for a car loan using a car's Title
I am not new to acquiring loans especially one week before my monthly salary. I did personal loans many times before because I need to pay my telephone bills, electric bells, water bills and some time tuition fees for my kids. It is really very hard to budget my monthly salary now because before both us were earning and at least we were able to stretch our monthly budget. My wife worked as a clerk in our city but she was included in manpower reduction since she is not regular but rather a casual employee. Right now we are planning to have a mini store in our house to sustain our daily our daily expenses. The problem is we could not find a bank or company lender that would lend us money without collateral. I could not use my home as collateral because I am afraid I could not pay my loan and if they will take my house we are nowhere to go. I am also using my car to take my children to school and as a service for me to go to my field works. Personal loan is very small for us to start a new business which is mini store that I mentioned earlier.

I am positive that doing business will help us in the long run rather than working eight hours a day as employee and be fired later on without any warning. Right now we decided that I should be employed and my wife will start a small business until it will be able to sustain us. Many of my friends started small but now they have their business as their source of huge income without a boss to buzz them every day of their lives.

Last week was the turning point when I met my old college friend who is now a very successful retailer, he told me about auto title loans. Honestly I never heard before that you can apply this kind of loan without surrendering your property as collateral. In this case I can still use my car to bring my kids to school even if I will use it as collateral. This loan is very convenient; you apply for a car loan using the car title. The loan will depend of course of what your car’s value. They approve it and you can still use your car. Isn’t it convenient?

Transportation Business

Transportation Business
My friend who worked here in Middle East resigned last month and decided to stay in our native country for good. He worked here for almost 20 years and invested his money through stock market. Right now since he has nothing to do, he decided to own a business. He did try many businesses before like restaurant, trading business and even piggery but he was not able to recover the capital. Well maybe because they were not supervised by him personally. Indeed business without your present is very risky.

He inherited his father business which is transportation. He has 150 taxis, five buses and a charter bus rental for tourist and children who want to rent it for field trips and other purposes. He told me that the ROI (return of investment) is easy to achieve because of the taxis and buses. If you have big capital the maintenance is not a problem because just in case one unit is damaged you can still earn money though other units.

Since tourism is very popular today, many tourists will rent his units and he will earn big. What is important in this business is that you should be very caring to your customers. If they like your service they will get you the next time they need your taxis or buses. Tourism is big industry today.

2008 BMW 135 Model Review
I love car and this my review of 2008 BMW 135 Model. Best model of BMW today.

Even if the gasoline is very expensive I think that should not discourage you to buy your favorite car.

Just don't forget to include accident insurance and other papers when you buy 2008 BMW 135 Model.

The price is just right and affordable at the same time it has an economic fuel feature.

So here it goes:
* MSRP: $34,900 - $39,100
* Invoice: $32,290 - $36,150
* Fuel Economy Range: 25 mpg Hwy, 17 mpg City
* Basic Warranty: 48 months/50,000 miles
* Fuel Type: premium unleaded

Inspired by the BMW 2002, the 1-series redefines the entry-level luxury vehicle with its refined build and balanced performance.

The rear-wheel drive 135i is initially offered as a coupe, a convertible will be available later in the year.

The 135i is powered by a twin-turbo, 300-hp, 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine mated to either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic with steering wheel paddle shifting.

Standard safety features include six airbags, anti-lock brakes, adaptive xenon headlights, adaptive brake lights, stability and traction control and run-flat tires with pressure monitoring.

The 135i features the usual BMW creature comforts such as a 10-speaker audio system, auxiliary input jack, power sunroof, automatic climate control, wood trim, leather wrapped steering wheel and multi-way adjustable front seats.

The BMW 135i is all new for 2008.
