I am satisfied with my new cellphone, the Samsung Galaxy A5. So far the picture and video is okay as I used it to take photos. With 13 Megapixels what do you expect. I also install a 32GB memories but I think the the disadvantage of this gadget is slow compared to other model. This of course in my own experience. I like the beauty of it because it is slim and look like an iPhone which is more expensive.

The monitor graphics is beautiful with A 5in 1,280x720 resolution Super AMOLED display. 

Overall I am satisfied with the price and the features.

Samsung's Galaxy S7 Will Have A USB Type-C Port According to Rumors

Samsung's flagship Galaxy S6 smartphone is still famous and marketable, but talks pertaining to its successor the Galaxy S7 are already gaining traction.

The latest buzz suggests that the next-gen Galaxy S7 phablet will be taking things in a different direction and could well be sporting a USB Type-C port instead of the current microUSB one.

The new information comes courtesy of SamMobile which cites reliable sources.

"It might not come as a surprise to some, but our sources have confirmed that the Galaxy S7 will come with a USB Type-C port instead of a standard microUSB port," reveals the publication.

The USB Type-C port is being touted as the next big thing for smartphones as it uses a reversible cable, which can be plugged into any device in any manner. Another advantage of this connector if that it speeds up the charging of a mobile device in tandem with USB 3.1. Moreover, the USB Type-C connector also aids smoother and quicker transfer of data when compared to a USB 3.0.

Several new devices such as the Nexus 5X, as we reported, are said to be shipping with the USB Type-C connector. The new Dell tablets i.e. the Venue 8 Pro and Venue 10 Pro will also come with the new USB standard when they hit the shelves in mid-November.

Even the eagerly-awaited OnePlus 2 smartphone from OnePlus, like its predecessor, will be adopting the USB Type-C port.

It would follow the logic that Samsung also embraces the USB Type-C port for its future smartphones to stay relevant. Therefore, the news that the Galaxy S7 will have the USB Type-C port is not surprising.

Rumors have also been rife that the Galaxy S7 could take a leaf out of Apple's book and have ClearForce technology to take on 3D Touch. The smartphone is also anticipated to sport a 5.7-inch QHD screen and a magnesium alloy body.

Rumors also point to a 16 MP primary and 5 MP selfie camera for the smartphone which will boast 4 GB of RAM. The smartphone could house the Snapdragon 820 processor, Exynos M1 chip or the Exynos 7422 chipset depending on the region it is headed.

Think The iPhone 6s Is Expensive? What do you think in India?

The iPhone 6s does not come cheap, but for a certain country, the price tag is the highest that customers need to pay to acquire Apple's latest smartphone.

The iPhone 6s will be launched on Oct. 16 in India, which is three weeks after the device was released to most of the western world. In addition to the delayed launch, customers will have to pay the most for the iPhone 6s compared to all other countries.

In India, the price tag for the 16GB model of the iPhone 6s is 62,000 rupees, which is equivalent to $955. The 128GB model of the iPhone 6s Plus, on the other end of the spectrum, will come with a price tag of 92,000 rupees, which is equivalent to $1,415.

Using the bottom and top models of the iPhone 6s as the reference points, CNET pointed out that Indian customers will be paying $306 more for the 16GB iPhone 6s and $466 more for the 128GB iPhone 6s Plus.

What is ironic with the high selling prices for the iPhone 6s in India is that it could prove to be a costly decision for Apple, as analysts are saying that with prices too high, almost all of the prospective customers for the device will not be able to afford the smartphone.

Rival Samsung has a presence in India, with the Galaxy S6 coming with a price tag of 40,000 rupees, which is about $615. However, the best-selling smartphones are the budget devices that come with price tags below the equivalent of $200, such as the RedMi line of Chinese mobile phone manufacturer Xiaomi and the devices released by local company Micromax.

"Anything above 60,000 rupees is way out of reach for even an average rich urban consumer," said Counterpoint Research director Neil Shah.

Apple had good sales in India for its last fiscal year of October 2014 to September 2015 with 1.7 million units sold, representing an increase of 55 percent compared to the previous fiscal year. However, only half of the iPhones sold during the period were from the iPhone 6s series, which according to Shah, reflects the price affordability of the iPhone customers in India.

The iPhone 6, upon its launch last year in India, had a price of 56,000 rupees for the 16GB model, equivalent to $865.

Potentially, not only can Apple's next-gen iPhone 7 can use both the sides as a display, but also mold the screen into any shape the company pleases. So basically, if Apple implements the wraparound display patent technology for the iPhone 7, it would be able to make the smartphone sport a spherical, cylindrical or any shape it chooses.

Moreover, the Cupertino-based company would have the green signal to create a smartphone that pretty much is made up of a 100 percent display! Apple can stick to the 4.7-inch screen size and still show more content than rival smartphone offerings which are bigger. The company can devise a method whereby the screen folds in such a manner that it would seem that an image or video is in an incessant loop.

Apple could take things several leagues ahead and create an iPhone which is made completely out of glass. Its latest 3D Touch technology could completely negate the need for physical volume, home and lock buttons.

The flexible screen would offer Apple the opportunity to experiment with inserting a second display behind the first one so as to create 3D images with some ingenious programming. The two screens would create an illusion of depth and recreate a 3D experience.

Samsung Galaxy S7 Development Might Be Complete By December, Thanks To Agile Methodology

The launch of Samsung Galaxy S7 is not expected until early next year but rumors about the flagship device have already started emerging. Using a new methodology, the development of the Galaxy S7 is estimated to be completed by December this year.

A report from Korean publication Asia Today suggests that Samsung is giving way to the old "Waterfall" method and is adopting the more productive "Agile" method of developing devices.

The new method breaks various aspects of a device development in small parts. When one module is finished then it is tested subsequently to make the overall process quicker. With the Agile system the development plan can also be changed slightly.

On the other hand, the Waterfall method follows a precise plan of development and does not have any room for alterations when a stage is completed.

The launch of a new Galaxy S series handset is a big event. The Galaxy S6 and its predecessors have been welcomed well by smartphone enthusiasts and market gurus alike. Samsung will want that the Galaxy S7 attracts more customers to buy the phone.

Samsung has not let out any information on the Galaxy S7 and currently limited rumors are floating in the market about the flagship smartphone.

A previous Tech Times report highlighted that Samsung is testing two variants of the Galaxy S7: one running on Snapdragon chipset and the other on Exynos. However, the exact version of the chip to be used in the upcoming Samsung handset is yet to be confirmed.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Might Have Auto-Eject Feature For Its S Pen

Samsung is reportedly on course and is busy prepping the next-gen avatar of its popular Galaxy Note series, the Galaxy Note 5. Now, word is that the impending Galaxy Note 5 phablet may boast a novel feature for its S Pen stylus: Auto-eject.

A patent application filed by Samsung (and published by the USPTO recently) is the source of the information, and it suggests that the Auto-eject option will be made available for the next-gen phablet, which is poised for a September release. The Auto-eject feature implies that Galaxy Note 5 users will not have to manually pull out the S Pen, instead it will be pushed out automatically by the smartphone.

The USPTO patent was spotted by Patently Mobile, and the publication reveals that the Auto-eject mechanism will work thanks to magnets.

The S Pen will apparently house a single magnet inside and the Galaxy Note 5 will also have one magnet. Both these magnets will attract each other when the stylus is placed inside the phablet. This will keep the S Pen locked inside the Galaxy Note 5. For those wondering how the S Pen will be auto-ejected, it has to do with simple physics. The polarization of the two magnets will be reversed so that they repel each other and, as a result, the S Pen "auto-ejects."

The next logical question is how Samsung will bring this polarization into effect. Samsung's patent suggests that the OEM is looking to key in a voice command or gesture control system that will work in tandem with the auto-eject feature.

Users will likely need to issue a voice command or draw a basic "shape gesture" that will propel the stylus into eject mode automatically.

"Since it is possible to automatically eject the touch pen only with a simple manipulation and/or command, it is easy to manipulate the electronic device with one hand, and since a separate locking device for confining the touch pen isn't needed, it is possible to enhance the usage convenience of the electronic device," revealed Samsung in the patent.

Alternatively, a possibility exists that Samsung may have a button to facilitate auto-ejection. With the Galaxy Note 5 anticipated to release at the IFA 2015 in Berlin in September this year, we will know if the unique auto-eject feature makes its way to the phablet.
